Well not completely just yet. It was designed to however. Running TrackMe in the background requires an operating system that supports that functionality. So far, Steve Jobs and Team have decided not to allow programs to run in the background on the iPhone for usability reasons. The hooks are in the program, however, to enable it whence they do allow that.
The next best thing to that is, the TrackMe application will resume running, after a call is received and terminated. Or, if the screen saver engages, TrackMe is still running. Unless you navigate away and start another program entirely, TrackMe keeps on ticking…
