The reality is that information transfer networks are not “Always-On” and are sometimes unavailable. This applications location data is transferred when the network is available, stores it locally when the network is not available and transfers it when the network becomes available, thereby providing location information that is “Always-Available”. Real-Time data is always stored on the device. Through Always-Available transmission, “Real-Time” data is reported to the central computer when the network is available.
